After today, I will never do (blank) again

...Take Miss C to the mall sans stroller and/or wrap.

For the better part of my mall outing I borrowed a friend's Ergo. It was nice and comfy--never used one before, so I was very glad to try it out. Miss C fell asleep in it, but of course I had to try on a really cute jacket at Banana-(it was on sale and I still had birthday money) so I took off the Ergo, hence taking off Miss C, and she woke with a smile on the dressing room floor. After that, I returned the Ergo to my friend, said goodbye, and decided I needed to go inside Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn Kids, and Nordstrom kids's section all while carrying my 16 pound bundle of joy in my arms, and a 15 pound backpack on my back. What a great idea!

So, after shifting her from one arm to the other, Miss C went from a 16 to a 30 pound bundle of joy in thirty minutes. Fastest weight-gain in the west! I know...my guns are weak--there are tons of mothers out there that carry their little ones for way longer than that--and wonderful for them and their toned arms, but I'm just not one of them. Lesson learned. Never leave home without my Vat, Didy, Babyhawk, Storch, or Peg Perego.

So for some good news: I think I found Miss C's Christmas dress. As I blabbed the excellent news to Auntie Erica, she reminded me that Miss C can have more than one Xmas dress. Like, Duh! What was I thinking? This is Princess C we're talking about here. I mean, Mirella had like, 5! Ok, you're so right Erica--but this one will be her "special dress" because it's seriously the most beautiful thing I've seen that's made of cloth in a long time. It's pink--which is funny because that's so not a holiday color, but I don't care--she likes to stand out, anyway. This one here isn't it, because I couldn't find the other one online, but it's a close second. Just look at this perfect little frock! I Love the little row of roses--tres jolie!

More good news: I can now make pumpkin and skeleton faced pancakes! Williams-Sonoma es la bomba, and I wish there was a show called Williams-Sonoma Spree where I could go in and do just like they did in the Supermarket show of the same name. Oh heavens--the thought!
Anyhoo--here are the pancakes, not mine, but I'm sure mine will be just as fab. I'll test them tomorrow for ET and post pics. SOOOO excited!
