Inauguration morning...

...And it's me and Miss C. She's drinking from me, her head slightly dampened from the perspiration produced from our skin touching for so long. The sweat does not bother her--as long as she's close to me, she's a happy baby. I'm thankful for that. And I'm happy, too. Aside from the occasional bite from Miss C, which makes me feel slightly less than jovial, I'm completely ecstatic watching Barack Hussein Obama get sworn into office.

Ethan's home today, too. He's in the other room watching "Polar Express". He doesn't seem to mind that the movie is all about a holiday that just passed. Christmas and Santa never seem to get old, and well, he simply likes the movie!

Sebbie, on the other hand, is at school this morning, and I kinda wish I would've kept him home to watch Obama take the Oath of Office. For historical purposes, yunno? He's just missed so much school lately, that I couldn't let him miss another. He'd probably spend his day playing with his "guys" (action figures) anyway, so I guess I made the right decision.

Anyway, it would've been nice to have everyone home today to honor this momentous day.

I guess I'll just have to bake a cake, or cookies, or SoMEThinG.

To celebrate, of course.

Even as a Canadian I have to tell you that I too was glued to my t.v. My youngest was a little upset because he was missing his show but it's history and I am very excited for all of us!!!
