Because there is a constant nagging in my mind every time I walk past that little room that is still "Navajo White" with about half a dozen lonely, gold picture hooks hanging on its walls as if they were some sort of nouveau art work. Or when I look over my unfinished craft room--the one with a bazillion papers, paint tubes, and glitter bottles strewn all over the place--I feel queasy, and it's always--ALWAYS in the back of my mind to make it PRETTY.
So I've made up my mind that I'm just gonna finish each project, one at a time. Starting with my powder room/downstairs 1/2 bath. And I'm gonna stop right there. I'm not even going to mention what I have planned for the other rooms. I always get ahead of myself and end up wanting to do too much at one time, then I feel overwhelmed and wind up doing nada. So today--this week--I'm focusing on ONE ROOM AT A TIME.
And it's going to be pink.

I LOVE IT! When I was in kindergarten my favorite outfit in the whole wide world was my PINK pant suit with my RED turtle neck. I mean it... I LOOKED awesome in it! To this day I wish my mom had saved it for me to put on my pretty's... For sure post pictures to show and tell!
Love the color! Funny thing is...I too just went on a painting tangent because I am getting sick of these white walls as well. Literally, I JUST got back from Home Depot with "Harvest Brown"--my color for the kitchen...still thinking about the accent wall color...hmmmm....
Can't wait to see the finished product. I'm sure it is going to be FAB.
