Numero Uno:
This scene pretty much sums up summer vacation so far. Seb and Ethan outside with C from down the street. They're pretty much stuck right where they are, right in front of the house, because I won't let them go any further than that. They don't seem to mind, and have had many adventures in our courtyard or behind our trash cans. They're boys. They could have fun with a box of dirt. They don't have it that bad.
I'm happy about this scene for two reasons, but one more than the other. The first is that they are outside simply being kids---getting dirty, eating cookies, sweating, sword fighting, swimming. They love having C over, and I love that they are thoroughly enjoying the summertime just as they should.
The reason I'm really happy is because Mr. Sebastian is back from his overnights at Grandma and Grandpa's houses. I missed him so much. He was gone since Saturday, and it was weird having him gone so long. So now he's right back where he belongs and we can all sleep well again and wake up to "Moooommmyy!!!! Sebbie won't let me watch iCarly!!!"
Numero Dos:
When I sit down to play work on the computer, this happy little calendar is at my side. Bobby bought this for me last year at Pangaea, which is this metropolis of a store at Pacific Beach. It's huge. The shop is a cornucopia of really unique clothing, jewelry, gifts, candy, etc. from all around the world, (hence the name). It is the perfect store. Bobby always takes me on a shopping spree there for my birthday since we always seem to plan our vacation in late August. I love it, love it, love it.
This calendar just makes me happy. I think about Bobby whenever I look on the wall for the date or upcoming holidays, and how he picked it up and immediately knew I would love it--because it's so me. I waited 4 long months to proudly display my new calendar, and I was thrilled to wake up one morning to find that January awoke once again, and I could finally start crossing off the days.
Numero Tres:
He's so cute, I don't wanna eat him! But, I gotta. I just do.
He made me smile for a while, but smiles don't cut it when you're that juicy and sweet. Gotta deliver the goods...sorry bub.
