Over the Hill

That is where my husband is today.

OVER SOME HILL.

He has entered a new decade in his life...........his...........40's.

Wow. I'm in the last year of my 20's. Suddenly, he seems......so much older than me.

But he's still really cute.

He's got a lot of grays coming in, and I think it's really sexy. Especially the ones in his stubble that I notice on Saturday mornings when we're lying in bed together. 

I always tell him he's gonna be super hot as an old man, anyway.

NOT THAT HE'S AN OLD MAN ALREADY!! That's not what I mean. But you know, today he's 40, tomorrow he's 45, and before you know it, he's blowing out 65 candles! Yikes. 

I think I'll savor him at 40 today. 

Even though he's working from home since his truck broke down this morning. Even though he's taking way too long to finish that work (we're supposed to have a birthday lunch date with the girl and so yeah, birthday boy, hurry it up).

Thank you Victoria for giving birth to this man. He is BEAUTIFUL. wonderful. AMAZING. sweet. KIND. compassionate. PASSIONATE. smart-as-heck. SINCERE......and utterly scrumdiddlyumptious!
