And that's one of the more obvious ones that I can think of at the moment. He finds them in the most unlikely of places, and sometimes I can't even believe this kid came out of my womb. Attraction? To..........numbers?
So yes, it is December 21st. There are 3 more days left until Christmas Eve, and I barely finished my shopping this afternoon. Seeing as how I'm a stay-at-home mom, one would think that the Xmas shopping would have been done a month ago with these last few weeks left to actually enjoy the holidays and not run around like some contestant on Supermarket Sweep with 15 seconds on the clock......ONE WOULD THINK. But I like to believe that I work well under pressure, and that some of the joy of the holiday season is wrapped up in bad drivers, long lines, and hitting 15 stores in an hour and a half.
It was fun, actually..... shopping today. I was all alone, just me and my stroller. It just made sense to use it as a cart since I had so much shopping to do. Who wants to keep going back to the car every time the bags get too heavy?? Sure, I felt sorta goofy walking with an empty stroller before I made any purchases to place inside, and that's why every now and then I'd call out Clementine's name and pretend to look under racks of clothes, yunno, to scare the shoppers that stared at the empty seat.
After I had hit a few stores, I was asked at least a few times if there was a baby underneath all my bags. Why yes, actually she's sleeping under the Crabtree & Evelyn box, so would you mind keeping your voice down? Thank you! After a while, though, no one shot any weird glances my way due to lack of a baby in my stroller, and I realized that I couldn't have cared less, anyway.
I'm just glad that I'm all done now so I can stay home these next few days and wrap presents, make cookies with my babies, and clean for Christmas Eve.
And P.S., it only took me 20 minutes to figure out a combination for today's date.
12/21
1+2 = 3, and 3 - 2 =1.
Yes, I am totally proud of myself for that one. Sebbie will be, too.

Sounds like you have a math whiz on your hands! His teacher would be proud ;-) I LOVE the shopping stroller idea! GOOD use of resources!!
First off, your kid is a genius and second, ROFL at you and your stroller description. You might be a genius too just for that! Carts are a hot commodity these days.
I literally LOL'ed at the image of you checking under clothing racks for your "baby".
A dingo got my baby!! Sorry. It's late.
And now you've got me craving Crabtree and Evelyn. I love their Spring scent. Mmmmmm..
