Mah Girls

It was a simple get playdate, nothing fancy.  Nicole, Amy, Alena, and myself showed up to Miss Deni's house with empty tummies because Deni, being the wonderful hostess that she is, prepared some amazing crepes for us slathered in Nutella. Although she felt she had to redeem herself at some later date due to her sticking non-stick pans, they were really delicious. I even brought one home to Bobby - and he gulped it down and looked at me like, why the hell don't you make stuff like this for me, WOMAN???

Just kidding, He didn't. I just assume that's what he's thinking because I'm completely unfair and put words into his mouth all the time. But he loves me and thinks nothing of it after I kiss him on the lips to make it all better. See how we work? We're pretty awesome, if I do say so myself......

So Deni made crepes and the sweetpeas played together. It was a great morning and the weather was ridiculous. I love Arizona right now. It feels like paradise.

I love playdates, though. I remember once telling someone that I was in a mom's group and he basically laughed at me like I was the biggest nerd on the planet to have to resort to a group like that. I didn't dare tell him that I was the one who formed it. But I guess if he reads this then now he knows that I did. And frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!

Because forming this group was one of the best things I've done for myself. These women are more than just my "mommy" friends. They're my friends. They're awesome and all so different, and I swear, I'm not just saying this because it's Christmas time and we are all in the thankful mood and shiz, but I'm really, really glad they are in my life. 

Clemmie's, too.

I mean, after all, that's the whole reason why I formed the group in the first place.......right?? So Clemmie has a full schedule????
