Tonight.

Is date night.

Well, sorta.

I've invited a few other people to join us, but still - we are without our children so it is offically a date.

I went to the MAC counter today and got a new lipgloss to celebrate. I ran out of my favorite one and instead of buying it again I tried something new and it is seriously SO PRETTY. It's a combo lipstick/gloss - and if you wanna be a hot mama, too - it's called PLEASING. So appropriate, yeah?

Oh, and I actually blow-dried my hair today, too. And curled it so that it looks big and messy like I just rolled out of bed after a hard night of partying or just got down with my man....ahem......I guess it's called "sex hair." I think the name will do.

So - hair is done, makeup is done, and now I just need to figure out attire. 

I know it may seem silly to write about such insignificant details of one's life, but listen - the fact remains that I don't get "out" much, so when it's time to get pretty, I have fun with it. Besides, I'm dressing to impress tonight because although he doesn't know it, we aren't just going out on a date, but we are actually "dating" tonight. 

Like we used to. 

Like sweet. 

Like lovers.

Like we should always do from here on in.

Come to think of it, I don't think a new lipgloss was necessary for this evening. 

I betcha can guess why.....
