Little Things...

...that made me happy today...

Sebastian's smile in the morning.

Combing Ethan's hair while he chewed his cereal and thankful that I get to see his sweet face everyday.

Burning 600 calories on the treadmill and not being intimidated working out next to all the musclemen and women.

Laura's Wholesome Junk Food Bites- they taste sinful, but are not!

Clemmie's cold is stable.

Bobby is home again! Working - but home. I get to peek in on him whenever I wish and make him breakfast and lunch with kisses on top. 

Crossing off to-do's! Yes, that literally makes me happy! 

...that will make me happy today...

seeing my boys walk toward the car as I pick them up from "running club." Then hearing all about their day as we drive home.

Giving myself a manicure because all my nails have chipped polish (not cute) and I can't wait to use my new manicure supplies! Hot pink or midnight blue? Hmmm.....

Planning our date night on Saturday. I have some fun ideas in mind, but we'll see. It's a secret. Will tell later...

Reading to my bears tonight. Sebastian and I are working on The Magician's Elephant (again) and Ethan and I are working on the millions of books he picked out at the library. 

Reading my own book to myself - Living to Tell the Tale by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It's his autobiography - not sure if I'm gonna love this one like I do his fictional pieces, so we'll see. But this weekend I get to borrow my dad's new Stephen King novel! So excited! 

Waking Clemmie from her nap. This will take place in about 15 minutes, and seriously, she is like a doll when I wake her. Her eyes are all squinty, and she instantly smiles when she sees my face peeking in on her from the door. 

These are just some of today's little things, or pleasures if you will, that make me happy to be alive. And why not? It's a beautiful day and I'm thankful for every one that I get!
