February's here.

So that means party time in New Orleans, where somehow it's acceptable and even encouraged! for women to walk along Bourbon Street showing off their bare boobies in exchange for multicolored plastic necklaces. And now that they've won the Super Bowl? Oy, vey......

February also means some random groundhog minding his own beeswax will give us a completely irrelevant forecast of whether or not spring will come early. But he's cute, so I guess I get all the hullabaloo.....

February may also bring enlightenment to some children as they discover that the former planet Pluto was discovered 80 years ago this very month. Which, I'm sorry, but it is SO a planet still. Give me a break!

But most importantly, this month is Valentine's Day. That means.......Love. That means.........Chocolate. And because this month is devoted to love and chocolate,

am

one

super

happy

overflowed with joy

girl.

Because I like chocolate.

A lot.

Okay, more than a lot. I loooooove it. I used to eat it every. single. day. (NOT NOW OF COURSE. I HAVE CHANGED MY WAYS!) But I still indulge 5x a week on occasion.  Like, this weekend - I took the fam to the Chocolate Affaire in Glendale and seriously found a slice of purebred heaven on a stick. You'll have to scroll down to see just what I mean.

In the meantime, a little peak of our day in Chocolateland......

We got a tour of a local chocolate factory. So much fun and amazing samples - yippee!!
The best part was watching the candy move along on the belt just like in "I Love Lucy."
2nd best was eating the final product.

The girl yelling at me. Probably something along the lines of Put that fricken camera down and come get me because I can't live without you and freak out lately every time you put me down!
And I'm not even kidding. Attached at the hip, ears, and feet, that one.

Of course no festival is complete without some good ol' fashioned carnie rides.

(Best part was watching Bobby spin in the "Bear Spin" with the boys after he just told them he was gonna spin them like crazy. Yeah, well.....not so much. Sorry, Bob. Forever Young is just a song.)

Making chocolate pizzas! This was the best idea of the day! They loved adding all the "toppings" and surprisingly took good care not to tilt their boxes as the chocolate solidified.

I just wanna eat them! yum! (the boys, of course.)

And last but not least, me.
In between chocolate bananas.

This little "pose" was SOOOOO not my idea. Bobby made me do it.
He was trying to recreate this photo he took of me in Italy years back. I don't know why I agreed to it, especially with this particular subject matter. But o-well.

This is me. With bananas. And fluorescent pink nail polish.

I was happy.
Can't you tell?
With my 3 boys.
And 1 little girl.
And Mr. Chocolaté, of course.

I love going to the Glendale Chocolate Affaire...soooo yummy!! I haven't been there in a few years. And it's never complete without a visit to Ceretta's chocolate factory. That 4 lb bar may give me a heart attack.

I was cracking up at the picture of you between those chocolate bananas. HILARIOUS!
