Spring Break, Day 9: Party Planning and Throw-up.

The boys have been enjoying their break very much, and I don't know how they'll get back to their regular schedule come next Tuesday. I don't even wanna think about it.

But I've come to realize that my children want to do one thing and one thing only over this break of theirs.

Play outside.
That's it.

And to gather as many neighborhood kids as possible and bring them all back to the house to get on my nerves. Just kidding on the last part. Errr.....sort of.

Honestly though, I like it this way. My boys aren't allowed to venture very far from our driveway, so it makes sense that they have all their friends come over. I have brought it upon myself. I'm sure the other parents love me for it, and I love looking out my window and seeing my boys fall and tumble, jostling each other to the ground right where I can see them.

But today I let them have it. I had told them about 100 million times to keep the noise down because I just put Moona down for her nap, and they were being crazy boy loud. I think they were playing let's see who can scream the loudest and it got on my nerves!

Are you kidding me?

And then Sebbie busts through the door with a long string of gooey saliva dripping from his mouth, half of it spilling onto the kitchen floor. He could barely contain himself and was obviously very amused at his salivary skills. I was wide eyed and most definitely not.

Nor was I amused when I found out one of the neighbors had thrown up on himself because of a burping contest. He was just standing there with the vomit on his sleeve. I felt really bad for him, but I sent him home and made the boys come in for a while. I was annoyed with them and really for no good reason. They were just being boys, acting silly, and one happened to take his burping a little too far. But they came inside on got some to-do's out of the way. Sebbie did some AR reading while Ethan played a computer game. No harm no foul.

The adventures of my boys never seem to end, and tomorrow I'm sure there will be plenty more. I'm taking them to see the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie in the morning, so that should be fun and not expensive at all! Seb absolutely loved the books like every other kid in America, so he is especially excited to see it on the big screen.

And on top of all this spring break hoopla, I am planning Miss Clementine's 2nd birthday.

I can't believe it's almost here.

So I took some photos (or tried) of her this evening for the invitations. She was less than cooperative, only wanting to play games of hide and seek and catch me if you can. I was lucky to even get one good shot.

But I did. A few, even.

And she's so beautiful in the sunlight.

My little tulip.

As Daddy would say, "She can do no wrong..."

Bribery doesn't always work, but I had to try.
She would do just about anything for a dark chocolate covered almond from TJ's!

"Do Monster Face, Moona!"

Twirl and laugh and play.
You are my sunshine.
