I gave up trying to get "the perfect shot" of the kids for our Christmas cards this year simply because it caused way too much undue stress. So I opted instead for a humorous boxed set from Target. I had a slight twinge of guilt after my purchase knowing our annual tradition would be on hiatus 'til next year, but then the thought of the boys arguing, Clemmie tugging at her perfectly coifed hair, and Vega crying at the annoyance of being handled by someone other than me, made me feel just fine about my decision.
For about 20 minutes.
My last born won't have her photograph sent out for all to see on her first Christmas?
Ugggh........I guess not.
But you have to.
There's so much to do!
You can squeeze it in.
A party to plan for this weekend. Christmas shopping to finish. Cookies to bake with the kids.
They're CHRISTMAS PHOTOS of Your. Own. Children. Of Vega. Think of how she'll feel when she's 15, flipping through the old Christmas cards, merrily looking for her first one, only to be told it was never taken. Can you really live with that???
CAN YOU?!
Truth is, I can't. So I guess I'll be squeezing in one more to-do on our neverending Christmas to-do list. But it's worth it. Because she is the greatest gift I could ever receive this year.
And besides, she's so cute. It would be a shame not to show her off.....
I love her in this photo. Neck-less and all. :)
(7 and half weeks and perfect.)

Why don't you make a collage of a few of your favourite pics of your family this year-including that one-she is tooo cute!!
Is is SO ADORABLE! I agree with Kirsty, pick out a card design that allows for 3 or 4 photos...then you can use "stock" pics of the other kids from the year, and maybe just use one of Vega by herself. I'm a lot like you, I couldn't live with myself either. You'll get it all done, Momma...deep breath!
