Auntie Anna bought us this amazing little contraption before Miss C was even born and I have been waiting for the chance to use it! It is awesome, to say the least. I steamed up a pear in it, then poured out 1/2 the liquid, and proceeded to mix in the same container--can you say awesome? I can...
A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

This was the result.
Perfect Pureed Pears. I left the skin on, just to see what would happen, and it tasted so good! The pureed skin gave it a slightly
nutty texture, that I think Miss C really liked. There's nothing like freshly made baby food, I am convinced. If only I had thought of doing this for the boys. Perhaps now they would eat their potato skins with my mom's famous "potato tacos," as Laura has been know to call them.

Here she is trying it for the first time. She's not sure if she likes it, especially because I made her wait longer than she wanted, but eventually she gave in and tried some more.

Happy Baby! Not quite a smile, but definitely not a frown. I think she likes it!

Then again, maybe not. Really, though, this was a momentary displeasure in my culinary creation. Shortly thereafter she was back to tasting, trying to figure out if she likes it, and tasting some more.
The little Princess is a pleasure to dine with.
She makes me
laugh out loud--just by watching her eat! I'm assuming it's because I love her so much and think she is just about the greatest thing since chocolate covered bananas. But she's so much cuter and way more munchable than those anyday!
