It was not for some dream I had of Gerard Butler, where I whispered those words to him in a telephone booth on a rainy evening in Brussels, half-drunk from all the Limoncello I just drank at a small Italian eatery while he sat up in his crunchy hotel sheets on location in Spain, dumbstruck at my delirious rantings.
It was for you, my dear.
There was no such dream. I promise.
But...It is raining today. And it's beautiful. The high today is still 76. So, WTF? Isn't it January? Aren't there places not too far from here that have snow? Aren't people living in below zero conditions just a few hundred miles away? I don't get it. I don't like it. It makes me feel uncomfortable, especially when I put leggings on my baby and instead of keeping her warm they make her sweat. I know I shouldn't be complaining, but it's very weird when you look outside and see chilly, then you step outside and you get muggy.
So, what do we do on a semi-cool rainy day?
Let's see...
We send our eldest child to school.
We let the middle child watch Ben 10 and Spongebob.
We put the youngest child in a cage....Because we're mean.
We then allow both middle and youngest children to take a peek outside.
Then we all watch the rain come down.
And take a big 'ol sniff for Daddy's sake.

ohh how nice!!! Dont feel guilty about living in a nice warm place... just enjoy some sunshine for me... your newest blogging buddy!
I love to see that the youngest has been put in a cage. I have been feeling huge guilt for our youngest spending time in his cage... at least I am not alone in this desperation to get something done!
hi! I love new blog friends!!
let's see, I will give you the letter... C! have fun! :)
I will def. enjoy this weather! And do NOT feel guilty--they are fine in there for a little while. :-) Besides, she seems to actually like it in her "cage" with all her toys at her disposal!
