It's still in its' beginning stage, but it's awesome so far. We were about an hour away from riding it, but that hour proved to be too long for us, so we went back to the car and drove ourselves to downtown Tempe. It was for the better because I later saw the lightrail filled to capacity and then some, with people standing way too close for comfort to each other. So with my little Miss C, I was glad we were in the comfort of our own automobile.
We had lunch at Haji Baba, which was divine as usual. IH and I ordered chicken shawerma, the boys had kabobs, and Miss C tasted hummus for the first time. She didn't like it at first, but soon she was eating it as if it were pears!
After, we went to downtown Tempe and played around at Town Lake. The boys had fun with Daddy, and I had fun taking pictures of it all. Sebbie really wanted to hike "A" mountain, so we decided to be good little parents, and granted his wish. I was so glad we did because first of all, I had never done it, and second of all, it was an amazing view of all the festivities down below. The sun was setting, and we got some great shots. Plus, we all got some much-needed exercise, and who can complain about that?
