And there's so much to do for the little princess's party.
Fortunately, Etsy and I have become really good friends this past week and I got a whole bunch of goodies from her. I talked to 4 cake decorators in the past 4 days, and after much contemplating, I decided to go with the "old school" decorator that my cousin Michelle referred me to. Besides, the party is a bit "old school" with the invitations and decorations I'm making. I prefer to say it's vintage, but that could mean about a 100 different things to 100 different people.
I'm really excited about this party. My baby is turning 1! SO surreal. I want it to be perfect and girly and sweet. I started working on my craft room again just so I would have a place to work on besides the kitchen table. It's so satisfying to be able to actually see the surface of my work table. I have all my supplies out, and who knows? Perhaps now I'll begin to scrapbook once again!
But not today.
No, I'll leave the craft room and party supplies for Monday.
For now, Incredible Husband is home, and we have fun to make today.
What shall we do? Hmmm.........now I'm thinking in a British accent (probably because we watched Mary Poppins last night)
I know! I want to go to Jerome!
Yes, I've always wanted to go! Not sure if the boys will love it, but a road trip is always good for the soul, especially here in Arizona. The landscape can be boring at times, but the sky....
Oh yes, the sky....
....is pure magic.
