*Always cooking a hot dinner for us after working all day long. You never really got any help, and dinner was always yummy *making sure we were cleaned and ironed * being crafty * always making us an Easter basket every year with stuff from all the years before * collecting Hallmark ornaments--cause now I do, and if it weren't for you, I know I wouldn't * wearing red lipstick and having that roll-on glitter from the early 80's--I still remember playing with that thinking it was so pretty and how neat that you got to wear that--that's where I got my makeup obsession from, I'm sure * the Christmas sugar cookies we helped decorate every year * loving antiques and showing me to appreciate them * decorating the house every year for each holiday * telling me I am beautiful * giving me (a little of) your beautiful smile * your amazing strawberry cake and carrot cookies * taking care of me when I was young and pregnant and scared and alone * taking care of me and Sebbie * whistling while you worked--I miss that sound * being by my side through 2 labor and deliveries * always being into homeopathic remedies and vitamins and stuff *the many times you babysat the kids * the first dinner I ate when I got home from having Clemmie--pork chops and rice-a-roni never tasted so good * teaching me the difference between "ground" and "floor" and how to pronounce the "wh" in white---& countless other grammatical lessons * showing me how to use a tampon so I could go on my field trip to Sunsplash---what a memory * eating right and showing me the importance of fruits and veggies in my diet * making me watch all those old movies like "Wuthering Heights" and countless others * splurging on yourself every once in a while, cause now I do, too * loving me and my children and my Husband because that is the most important thing you could have ever done for me, and you did it *
