My baby got his hair cut! It was completely his idea, and how could I argue with that fact that it was itching him whenever he went outside to play in this desert heat? He's always had long hair, except for one other time, and I just love it. It's especially cute when it sticks out from under all the baseball caps he wears.
But--he's so cute with it cut off now. I can actually see his face! And the back of his neck! And his ears! I wasn't sure he even had any!
So it's a good thing. And he walks down the stairs every morning, touches his head and proclaims, "I can't believe there's no hair there!"
Neither can I.
Father's Day morning came way too soon, and I made my Bobby his favorite breakfast, The San Diegan. Muna ate all the tomatoes off his plate and decided she is a tomato fanatic. Who woulda thunk?
Ethan and Daddy decided to play some music up in the "band room," and they rocked out hardcore! Thanks to my girlfriend, Deni, I scored an almost brand-new guitar for Ethan at a yard sale for $15--and I couldn't have found a more perfect gift for him. He makes up new songs all day long, and sang a few of them that morning while Muna danced along. I really wanted Sebbie to come upstairs, too, but Garfield was on TV, and I guess the pull of a talking cat was a little too strong to resist.
We visited our dads later in day, and spent the evening with my family.

That is one good-lookin' boy you have there, Mommy Dearest! :)
Thanks, guys! It was weird seeing him like that for the first 2 days! But I love it, and it's perfect cuz it's summertime! :-)
