After we got back from the water park, ET caught me eating some Ben & Jerry's right out of the container. (Creme Brulee flavor--yum!)

"Awww...no fair," he said with a half whine/half smile.
"Want some?"
"Yeah!"

So off we went to the kitchen, and while he received a bowl of sugar, I received a healthy dose of ET Theology. It went a little something like this:

Me: Why is ice cream so good?
ET: Because God made it that way...because he made ice cream man to make it that way!
Me: Oh...I see.

This Morning

(Tap on my shoulder while sleeping)

B-Boy: Mommy...(said in a whisper to keep baby from waking)


Me: Hi Baby--good morning!

B-Boy: I forgot to show you this. (Holds up folded piece of paper)


Me: That's so cute!

B-Boy: Where can I put it?

Me: Just put it on the kitchen table.

B-Boy: But what if Daddy throws it away?

Me: He won't. (As I slide it under my pile of nursing pads, ever so protected)

B-Boy: Thank you, Mommy. Bye! I love you!

Me: I love you, too, Babe! Have a great day at school!

....Yes, I love you B-Boy. More than you could ever know.
