Whew.

I successfully let Clemmie "cry it out" last night. It took her 10 minutes and she was out. I only had to come in once to soothe her, and that was it! She's such the trooper! A part of me wanted to cry as I listened to her wail those first 5 minutes, but I just had to remind myself that I will be a better mother to all 3 kiddos with a full night's rest. (I haven't slept thru the night for over a year now!)

Sebbie was really concerned about her sleeping alone, and was so excited to see her this morning. We walked upstairs together to wake her in sweet, soft, morning voices. He's such a good big brother, always holding her, playing with her, and looking out for "choking hazards" that may have fallen to the floor. Ethan's really good about that too, and refers to anything on the floor, even lint, as a "hazard." He can often be heard saying, "Mommy!! Look what I found on the floor! You  gotta be careful!!"

He loves calling me out on stuff.

I just love it that he really does look out for her.

Someday she'll probably wish they weren't so protective, but she'll have two of the best guys in town on her side.
