THANKS

I know Thanksgiving is 4 days away, but the spirit of thanks is in the air.

This morning, my sister sent me a text telling me that she is, indeed, having a girl. This information did not come as a surprise as she's literally known since the moment of conception. I'm not even kidding. In her mind, the possibility of a boy was non-existent. She even went so far as to tell me they weren't even considering boy names since she KNEW it was a girl.

How's that for intuition?

So, this morning, I'm thankful that my sister and her hubby got what they wanted. I know this makes them both so happy.
And now Clemmie will have a little cousin to play dress-up with. And probably boss around.

Which brings me to....

My Darling Clementine.

The little girl that has suddenly turned defiant and screams for things she doesn't get. The little girl that lets Woofie out of his crate as soon as I put him inside. The little girl that calls her favorite princess, Cinderella, "La-la." The little girl that loves to dance and color on her brothers' homework. The little girl that puts Woofie's food in his water bowl. The little girl that gives me bear hugs over and over right before bedtime. The little girl that hangs out with me in my bathroom when I do my hair and makeup. The little girl I chase around the house to tickle. The little girl that is growing too fast.

I know exactly how my sister feels right now. I felt the same way 2 years ago. Still do, actually.

Tutus and babydolls.

So grateful.

Princesses and purses.

So thankful.

Pink and ribbons.

She's in my life.

He's dusting her off because she fell.
She's laughing because....well, just because.

I seriously hope we get a girl sometime. I need more pink in my life. Right now, my hubby only produces boys. So I'm sure that our 3rd child will be a boy as well.
