Happy St. Patty's Day!
Day 3 of Spring Break and things are going surprisingly well. Not that I expected any major thunderstorms or anything of the sorts, but my boys are BOYS - and BROTHERS - some turmoil is part of the norm. But the boys are getting along and even playing
-dare I say it-
nicely together. Like ALL DAY LONG.
Whoa.
It's been really nice.
And the weather outside was almost hot. Can't even believe that one. They took full advantage of that and played outside for about 5 hours straight. I took advantage of Bobby being home and had him watch them while I got my nails did. A really pretty pastel pink - perfect for spring.
So tonight we're celebrating a Saint by toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate by the fire. Our tummies are full thanks to an incredibly fattening yet yummy meal courtesy of our neighborhood joint, Teakwoods. But in this household, there's always room for something chocolate.
And a roaring fire.
And really good conversation.
Probably about farts.
Or random trivia.
Or whatever.
Messy kitchen and a beautiful girl.
IN GREEN.
Ooohh......GREEN grass and is that TWO GREEN shirts I see there?
Notice Moona's "little stance" against the wall. Sassy pants!
It's Woofie! He looks like Oscar the Grouch, so I pretended he was GREEN. And yes, Sebbie is in the spirit - he's just wearing a very faded olive GREEN shirt. That's the best he could find. You should've seen me today. I had to point out the tiny GREEN flowers on my shirt to Bobby and closed my eyes to show off my super groovy GREEN eyeshadow.
And in honor of this GREEN day, a little Irish proverb:
May you live as long as you want,
And never want as long as you live.
And never want as long as you live.
