Spring Break, Day 1: Shopping/Sick Girl/New Shoes

Oh, it's been a long time since I've last posted a tidbit from our lives on here.
In my defense, I've not been feeling myself lately, and sitting in front of the computer uploading images on BLOGGER that take forever didn't seem like time well spent. Eating Ciao Bella watching movies was a much, much better way to do that.

But now that I'm back to feeling like me again (or close enough to it) I have decided to put blogging on my to-do list for like, everyday. Starting today.

Which happens to be the boys' first day of Spring Break! Yee-haw! And what an exciting ride it's been so far. Let's see, chores in the morning that consisted of laundry and cleaning out under their beds. Then we all got ready (minus Bobby who was working from home which yes - that really is working, and no, I didn't bother him one bit all day long because I'm changing my ways!) and made a trip to the mall for shoes for Ethan. TIE shoes, mind you, because he's decided it's about time to learn how to tie his own shoes, thank you very much. He picked out a pair of Nikes and "tested them out" as fast as he could, practically running over a 4-year-old pedestrian. (Testing track was courtesy of our friendly neighborhood shoe salesman at Nordstrom who encouraged the running down a fairly busy walkway. Not my fault. At all.)

Moona was as fussy as she has been this past week, still battling her double ear infections. Nothing made her happy. Nothing.

I was relieved to walk out of there. I didn't get to buy the new foundation I've been wanting to try (MUF's Hi Definition) but I managed to grab a mascara - which is way more important, anyway. I also found the boys some shirts for Easter and a dress for Moona, but I'm still looking for the perfect hat and sandals to go with.

So Day 1 of Spring Break is practically over.
I have 1 girl asleep and 2 boys outside playing.
I am tired and I really, really, really wanted nothing more than to see Alice tonight.
I was even willing to go alone since we have no sitter and the boys have already seen it.
Bobby forbade me. Said he'd take me to Gilbert Pizza and everything.

I said fine, but after he'd have to watch the new Michael Moore movie with me.

Deal?

Deal.

Your day sounded like fun--shopping, organizing...yay!

I hope she feels better--ear infections = no good.
