2 and Fabulous!

(Been dealing with a tragic loss in our family, so these next few posting are really late.)

She woke to a duet of Happy Birthday To You.
She smiled and giggled and rolled around her crib, happy to be greeted by the silly people.
The ones that are crazy about her.

OVER-THE-MOON crazy.

I could kick myself for not taking any photos of that morning.
But at least I have 8 million other photos here for your viewing pleasure. Or not.
See, I don't scrapbook (YET - BUT I JUST BOUGHT SOME REALLY CUTE PAPER AND EMBELLISHMENTS TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION AND I PROMISED MYSELF I WOULD START AFTER HER BIRTHDAY...)
so this is kinda the place to do that. Not necessarily "digital scrapbooking' cause I know that's a whole other time-consuming project in and of itself, but this works for now. So expect to have to scroll down for tons of pictures. More than usual. Bear with me. She turned 2. It's kind of a big deal. And she is the ONLY girl...

Our tradition. Hold up the sign, Clemmie, and look cute while I think of ways to gobble down those cheeks, okay? Okay.

Bobby and I took her to lunch earlier in the day and then to the Disney store for some more princess figurines. She played for a while at the playground, then came home for a much-needed nap. She had a wonderful Birth Day.

Here she is enjoying her birthday cake after dinner and her bath.
All I heard for the next few days was "Cake, cake!"

Party day and the girl wouldn't let me get a decent photo of her. Are you kidding me? She looked like a doll, and I was NOT happy that she wouldn't look into the camera. But I like this one, anyway. She's pointing at me and was probably just about to say something like, "Don't even think you're gonna get me to smile for you - unless you have chocolate, of course."

My dad acting silly, as usual. Always aware of the camera - a natural born actor!
And I'm serious - check him out in this film - he took an arrow like no other!

Her Cinderella Carriage cake. I was so happy with Sugarlips! They did an amazing job and it was delicious!

Of course, no princess party is complete without a princess bouncy!

I think she likes her cake.
Time to sing!
She was in awe of everyone around her. So cute.

Kisses from Daddy. Happy Birthday, Baby.

Everyone was telling her to take a bite out of her cake. She's deciding on whether or not it's a good idea...

....Guess it was!
Go Clemmie!
She loved it, and wouldn't stop!
I actually saw her going back to the table to scrape off the little pieces of frosting that were left behind. She definitely is like her mama and has a major sweet tooth!

I never like cutting the cake. Thank GOD my mom was there to help out.
Thank you, Mami!!

Like a bandit!
Everyone was so generous, Clemmie was truly treated like a princess.

Sis-in-law Lamie with my niece Samantha.
2nd in her class!! woo-hoo!

Pretty girls! Deni, Amy, and Manisha.

Some of the munchkins enjoying the bouncy. Those eyes are telling me to get the heck out there, pronto! Just kidding - Roman loves his future MIL!

Uncle Roy got her some DBack gear! Now we gotta go to some games!!

YES! I remembered to get a picture with the birthday girl! I'm always behind the camera, but made sure Bobby got this one of us.

I'm so glad she enjoyed her birthday and wasn't aware of what was going on with Richard. She was free, happy.

I enjoyed it, too.
Celebrating with my little Darling.
Little Miss 2-years-old.

Who says "no!" ALL the time, sometimes just because.
Points her finger while saying it.

Begs for chocolate.

Had two small cavities (OMG Bad Mommy!) because I let her have chocolate a little too often.

Was an angel when I took her to the dentist.
(They said she was the BEST EVER and so what if I believe them??!!)

Her favorite word is "huggie!" and it's usually said when the gardeners come with their blowers, I pull out the vacuum, or there's something a little too scary on the TV.
But - she also says it when she wants some love. And it's so darn cute.

Knows her mama is a photoholic -
Smiles on cue when she sees the 6th family member attached to the front of my face.

Feisty.
Feisty.
Feisty.

Beautiful.

In love with her pink slippers Uncle Roy bought her from China Town.

Did I mention she's beautiful?
Like, all of her.
Inside and Out.

Not kidding, even her ear wax is beautiful.
