Fruit-bomb Rollercoaster

My mom stayed the night. So this morning I made us a watermelon/pineapple/mango/strawberry smoothie. Which just about created a ridiculous fight among us regarding the amount of fruit I put in the blender.

Paraphrasing.....cuz I'm sure she'll be all, I didn't say THAT!!

Mom - Do you know how much fruit is recommended in recipes for smoothies?

Me - Um...no.

Mom - Well, there is a reason they only put so much fruit per serving. I saw how much fruit you put in there and you used a lot!

Me - Yeah, well, that's kind of the point, no? Besides, mine tastes good, so who cares?

Mom - Well, of course it tastes good, but there's a lot of sugar in all that fruit!

Me - OMG! Who cares? It's fruit. It's not like I'm pouring chocolate syrup and sugar cubes over the top.

Mom - okay Smartass!

....OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. just kidding - she never said the last part out loud.

Anyways shmanyways....

I love having my mom around. I really don't like the idea of her all alone in the house - with no one to talk to when she's not feeling good, or when she just wants to talk about Richard. I know my family is a lot, but I think it's good for her to be around the craziness for a little while.

So we gossiped a little, then I mopped my floors. It was quite the workout.
I was pooped after that. Literally fell onto the couch and just vegged. I was even considering turning down a lunch invitation to Cheesecake! But I made myself get up and get on with my day. It's been hard lately.

I mean - I am a working factory now.
There is a little bean in my tummy that is working on week 15. Holy smokes.

I am going to be a mommy of 4.
I am going to be a mommy of 4.
I am going to be a mommy of 4.

And I'm not even 30.
And I'm not even 30.
And I'm not even 30.

WHAAAAAAT?

So yes, I get tired. Easily and often. I am incredibly moody and my emotions are on the ride of a lifetime. Fucking Goliath at Magic Mountain. Not. Even. Kidding. I am Regan Macneil and Melanie Hamilton all rolled into one. Sounds lovely, no?

Truth be told, it is getting better. The moodiness is subsiding and THANK GOD!!

Bobby has been a saint (FOR THE MOST PART) and my poor kids don't know where their mother went. But I'm coming back....slowly but surely.

Only 6 more months...
Only 6 more months til Baby #4.

First time typing that out.
Looks kinda cool.

Now I'm craving a smoothie again. (Yes - I'm that pregnant girl.)
With lots and lots and lots of FRUIT....

Sounds like my mother, but she probably would have said the smart ass part! Ha! Congrats on baby #4. Don't worry once you have more than two, what's one more. At least that's what I kept telling myself! (I had all mine before 30 too) Hope you have a Happy Mother's Day!!!

YAY!! Sorry about the late response on here, but I am running on a laptop from the early 90's (I swear).

Congrats on the little bean! We are shooting for #3 here so I'll have to blog when I get the news on that one. :)

Take care K!
