Craft Room

This is my soon-to-be craft room. It is a sad and melancholy room that gets drunk occasionally to alleviate the pain of being neglected. It used to have an air hockey table that was often used by the kids and had many happy memories attached to it, but then I began to put piles upon piles of school papers, pictures, you-name-it on top of that table of fun, and it turned into a table of despair. In turn, the entire room shut down, whimpering softly as I would pass by to get on my computer. Help me, it would whisper. My insides turned every time I would look at the room--I mean really look--because the details are the saddest part of it all. Why do I keep wrapping paper in three different places, and leave Halloween decorations in the corner? It just seemed like too much to take on, but now I know that a little at a time is all it takes to get this going. This sad room has got to change its' attitude, as well. I can't be the only one making the changes. Besides, it's got a lot to look forward to....

I've been wanting to frame the kids' artwork, and this wall looks awesome.

I love great quotes...

I love the blue walls. And that painting of Morrissey? I think that'll be my first official project once the craft room is completed. In fact, I think I'm gonna play The Smiths during the entire redecorating process. I need to be careful, though, or my walls may turn out black.

Hmmmm....maybe black isn't such a bad idea....
