Boys, sports, sun, and new shoes.

So both the boys started up with sports again.

Ethan's back in baseball. NOT T-BALL--I have to make that clear. The coach pitches to him, and that is quite a different story than the above. I'm sure if Ethan could read this he would be very happy to know that I made that distinction. It's a big deal, yunno? Especially to a precocious 5-year-old that is very proud of all his early accomplishments.

And Sebbie, after being out of all organized sports (minus gymnastics) for the past two years, has taken up football. He was a bit wary of it at first, insisting on not going to his first practice up to the last minute or so, but when all was said and done, the boy couldn't have been happier. It made my day. I knew he would love it--he's such an athletic boy, with so much athletic potential; he was a natural out there. The competitiveness was also a rush for him, and although lotsa parents aren't into organized sports for young children, particularly football, I think he's gonna love it. But we'll see after his first real game--in a week. Keeping my fingers crossed!

So now Tuesdays and Wednesdays are jam-packed after school. But---we're getting out of the house with awesome weather, and that's such a nice change from our after-school schedule.

Such the silly boy.

A penny for her thoughts.

Oh, of course! The new shoes. Here they are in all their glory. Probably the cutest thing I've gotten her in a while. And that's saying A LOT!

The boy hustling. Go Sebbie!!
