Like Sebastian's party.
It's in 2 weeks and I haven't planned anything. I don't know what theme we're going with, if there's even going to be a theme, what kind of cake to order, where to order it from, or if I'm going to be brave and bake him a cake myself. sigh.
I need some help. I know I've ran into blogs that are entirely devoted to party planning but I can't seem to find them now, so if you know of any, please send them my way.
So, I was thinking of a few possibilities for Mr. Sebastian's 10th. These could be combined, or used on their own depending on what I go with:
(There will be 5-7 boys ages 10-11)
Fear Factor theme--yucky contests, gross (but still yummy) food, etc. (I don't even think this show comes out anymore, but maybe the boys would still think it's fun??)
A sleepover/camping night in the backyard complete with toasted marshmallows, sleeping bags, tent, etc.????? Ideas????
Go-carts or laser tag, pizza, home for cake, then sleepover with games (and what kind of games, exactly? Will they just want to play video games and watch movies????)
I've never had just boys to entertain at a party. I usually invite my entire family and have a big huge party, with bouncies and lots of food, and lots of people. This party will be different.
The planning starts now.
Wish me luck!!!

Party planning can be stressfull. I really like the laser tag/go cart idea. I think him and his friends would have a blast doing that.
Does he know what he wants to do?
Don't fret, I'm sure the party will come out fine. Here is a cool link for ideas. http://www.birthdaypartyideas.com/
It's all moms giving ideas, or documenting actual parties. There are ideas for any theme you can think of.
I like the Fear Factor idea, perfect for boys. You could play games with worm and spider shaped gummy candy. They even have rat shaped candy.
When is his birthday? My son turns 10 on November 8th. They are close in age.
I also talked to Erica about having you take our holiday pictures. I'll FB you about it. : )
What about bowling? My son LOVES it and it's Easy for you too! There is an AWESOME new bowling alley on Gilbert Rd. & Warner. Not sure if you could bring your own food. But I am sure you could bring a cake, I know there are lots of cute bowling cake ideas or even bowling ball cupcakes out there! Good Luck!
The camping/sleepover sounds like a lot of fun! I know my boys would love it. I'm horrible at game ideas...sorry. Good luck!
I am equally sold on the Fear Factor theme or the camping. If you do Fear Factor, you can get all of those gross gummy candies that look like bugs and eyeballs and everything else.
Decisions, decisions!! Thanks, Girlies---at least I have some more ideas and I can narrow it down now!!
